adequate stay, but some issues
great location walking access narrow walkway unsafe feeling
the location is good, providing walking access to the lake.
i found the dark stones and narrow walkway to my room unpleasant and unsafe at night. i also wanted a coffee early in the morning, but i was told it was not possible to get one until breakfast service started. i had to drive into town to get a coffee.

The hotel's location is really good near the lake. It allows for direct access to the walking path around the bay.
The facilities looked quite worn. Our room was like it belonged in a 3-star hotel. Wooden floors were swelling in the bathroom, and the shower above the bath showed significant wear, so I think they need a refurbish.

Wonderful stay
lake access comfortable bed needed amenities private patio
I stayed in a premium suite and was not disappointed. The lake access was directly off the patio, which i used DAILY. The suite had all the amenities i needed. The bed was so comfortable, It seemed like melting into it.
I noticed the restaurant got very busy during peak hours. It was sometimes hard to get a table without advance reservation, which i did'nt do.

The suite included a fully equipped kitchen WITH a washing machine. The lounge featured a very large tv. The bathroom had many towels and luxury toiletries, which i used a lot.

The restaurant provided outdoor tables with nice views. Breakfast offered many choices, including gluten-free options. The staff accommodated my dietary needs with a smile, it was lovely.

The hotel offers direct lake access, great. It is a ten minute walk to the famous tree. The hotel provides easy access to hiking points around the lake.
Facilities
9/10
Rental bikes are available on the premises. The gym includes three treadmills and two stationary bikes. On-site parking was available and very easy. I appreciate that VERY much.
